LOWER SAUCON TOWNSHIP
– Nearly $510,000 in grant funding was recently awarded to Lower Saucon Township to fund the redevelopment of the Easton Road ball fields, according to Rep. Milou Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton), who worked to secure the funding.
“I am so happy and grateful this funding has been awarded to Lower Saucon Township to help revitalize two important sport fields used by our community,” said Mackenzie. “This is excellent news for the district and a much-needed investment to keep sporting facilities functional and active for our youth.”
This grant was awarded from the Local Share Account (LSA) Program, which is funded by gaming revenue. LSA projects improve the quality of life of citizens in the community. Eligible projects must be owned and maintained by an eligible applicant or a nonprofit organization.
