HARRISBURG – Rep. Milou Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) is pleased to announce her appointment to serve on the House Housing and Community Development Committee for the remainder of the 2023-24 Legislative Session.
“I am truly passionate about meeting the demand for housing and community development in our Commonwealth,” said Mackenzie. “I will work hard as a member of this committee to prioritize the need for affordable housing and growing our precious Pennsylvania communities.”
At the start of the current session Mackenzie was named to the following committees: Children and Youth, Education and Human Services.
Standing committees are a cornerstone of the legislative process. All bills are assigned to a committee to undergo review. Committees may hold hearings on legislation, consider amendments to pending bills and report them to the full House for a vote.
