Mackenzie Announces Nearly $600K for Montgomery County Transportation Improvements

HARRISBURG – Rep. Milou Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) is pleased to announce three projects in Montgomery County have been recommended to receive a total of $576,538 from Pennsylvania’s Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF) to support roadway, safety and infrastructure improvements.

The funding will support the following projects:

Red Hill Borough: $210,036 for northwest neighborhood multimodal improvements.
Green Lane Borough: $191,167 for Route 29 Perkiomen Trailhead safety improvements.
Upper Hanover Township: $175,335 for Route 663 and Schoolhouse Road radius improvements.

“These projects will make roads safer, improve mobility, and enhance trails and pedestrian areas,” said Mackenzie. “I am grateful that these improvements will benefit everyone who lives in or travels through this part of the 131st District.”

The Multimodal Transportation Fund supports economic development and modernizes transportation infrastructure by investing in roadway, pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and stormwater projects. It helps communities across Pennsylvania maintain safe, reliable multimodal networks.
