Rep. Milou Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) is a prime co-sponsor of House Bill 1094. She was the prime sponsor of similar legislation last session.

HARRISBURG – In an effort to protect school children, Rep. Milou Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) sent a letter to Gov. Josh Shapiro making an official request for more solutions to get children to and from school safely. The letter was sent in response to the tragic murder of a student walking to school in Philadelphia. The murder occurred at 7:30 a.m., only two blocks away from the school, where the victim was attacked by three masked assailants and killed.
